Three-Fourths of Team O’Neill meet two-thirds of the Lemberg Crew at Chick-Fil-A this evening for dinner and a play date. To say that we had a G.R.E.A.T. time would be an HUGE understatement! The kids had a great time in the indoor playground and we chatted the night away! Candy and I started talking like we had known each other for years and to make things even better…she is a teacher too! Come to find out we have several friends from different stages in our lives…we have similar friends from college, past teaching careers, and her husband is even a coach at Dewey’s high school alum. (Go Trojans!) I love that we could come from a day at school and kick back ignore the screams, cries, almost smashed fingers, silly faced, sweat pant wearin’, shoeless, and manner-less children around us…of course none of ours…hee hee) and be “real” with each other!
Seriously…I didn’t want to leave, but a dirty diaper and an hour and a half later told me otherwise.

GREAT pictures! We too truly enjoyed our time with your guys! I have to disagree on one thing. My little monkey was most definately the "manner-less" one around! We had a big talk in the car about the way he was talking to me and his response to hearing "no". Seriously! He always throws me a curve when he tests his boundaries cuz it seems he does it right when I think he's doing an awesome job "minding". All this said, the tired little guy passed out 10 minutes down the road...ice cream in hand! WE had a fabulous time. Cannon was so excited to be there, playing with new friends. And I have to say, your kiddos have the sweetest personalities. Thanks again! We need to set another date soon. Maybe over the Christmas break!
