Tomorrow I turn 33 and my dad will sing “Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me…”. I love my 30’s and I have so much to be thankful for. I teach at a great school with great kids, have a wonderful husband, fabulous kids and a loving family.
As I have gotten older, my wish lists have become smaller due to the fact that the older I (everyone) get, the more expensive our wish list becomes and this year is no exception!
This year on my birthday/Christmas list, I had two B.I.G. things. The first was a jewelry armor and the second was a laptop. I have wanted a bigger jewelry box because my collection of jewelry has grown almost as big as my shoe collection. I wanted a laptop because I’m starting my masters in January and needed something other than our home computer that I could do my masters work on. Dewey and I wear our home computer out just with our teaching stuff.
I’m very thankful to have parents and in-laws that have spoiled blessed me!
Wish #1: Granted
This is my old jewelry box…
This is my new jewelry box…
It matches our bedroom furniture perfectly and I L.O.V.E. it!
Wish #2: Granted
I love the fact that I don’t have to wait for Dewey to get done with his nightly school work for me to be able to do mine or blog…or check my e-mails.
This baby will get a lot of use come January!
Thank you Mom and Dad and Jacque and Coach for spoiling me granting my wishes!

Happy Birthday!! How exciting to be starting your Master's!!!
Happy belated! I agree...the older we get the more we have to be blessed for! And you have a beautiful family!! I love the jewelry box you got...it would match my furniture perfectly as well! Any idea where the bday elf found it? I like that it's traditional..but not old fashion looking! Congrats on starting your Masters next year and good luck!!! I love reading your blog and keeping up with you! Tell the fam hi!
