Melmo!
We went to Nokia Theater to see Elmo and Friends today and the kids had a blast! We even got our Mexican fix at On The Border after the show. This was our second time to go to Nokia and I highly recommend it if you are willing to shell out the money or if you have grandparents who are willing to spoil them. Thanks Grammy and Grandma for a great day!

How Well Do I know my Husband?
Okay,
So I don't forward emails that are "junk" mail because they really annoy me. But this sounds looks like fun. Lets see if I can get any of these right after 15 years of dating (8 of that being married)!
1. Your spouse is sitting in front of the TV, what is on the screen?
The history channel or the MLB network (seriously...I wish he would of never found this channel!!)
2. Who takes longer showers, you or him?
Definitely me! He can shower, do his mirror thing, and get dressed by the time I put on my make up and do my hair. And I only take 25 minutes total to get ready.
3. What is one food your spouse doesn't like?
Tomatoes!
Tomatoes!
4. What would your husband say is the first thing that caught his eye about you?
In "those shorts" (as my in-laws call them), my legs. And NO, Sarah can't wear them when she is 17!
5. Where did he go to high school?
Newman Smith in Carrollton, Texas
6. What is his shoe size?
10
7. If he was to collect something, what would it be?
I'm going to change this question to what does he collect...baseball cards, baseball cards, and more baseball cards. I really didn't know our attic could hold so much!
8. What is his favorite type of sandwich?
Subway Cold Cut Trio with mustard and peppers. NO TOMATOES!
9. How does he take his coffee?
5 packets of Sugar...do you want some coffee with your sugar Dew?
10. What is his favorite cereal?
Shredded Wheat or anything chocolate.
11. Where did he go to college?
Texas Tech! Go Red Raiders!
12. What is his favorite sports team?
I don't think he has a favorite sports team, but he is in love with George Brett and LT!
13. Where was your first date?
Wax Museum, a 50's restaurant in Carrollton, and Sonic
14. What is something I do that he wishes I wouldn't?
"Tickle" him on his collar bone! heehee :)
15. What is his heritage?
German and Irish
16. You bake him a cake for his birthday, what kind is it?
Red Velvet
17. What could he spend hours doing?
Driving around the country in his Jeep going to baseball games or playing X-Box
18. What is one thing he is good at?
Folding Laundry and Stepping in right when I need a break!
19. Where is his favorite place he has traveled?
Mexico?
20. What is a clothing item he would never wear?
Anything Metro sexual! He is all about the wind pants and t-shirts...normal coach!
There you go...those of you who know Dew, How did I do? Love you honey!

Fun at the Park
We went to the park this afternoon and enjoyed the great weather. I'm so happy that it is getting warmer (not that it ever got cold), and we were able to enjoy the outdoors today and it was great.

A baby boy for our friends
Our friends welcomed their second child, Peter, on Wednesday. I brought them food today and was able to hold him for a little while. He is so cute and he also has a very proud big sister!

Clean as a Whistle!
Sarah wanted me to take pictures of her in the tub tonight because she had extra bubbles and she was putting them on her face. And she thought it was funny that Dewey was calling her the bearded little girl. {Nice...} But, by the time I got the camera, she was done with the bubbles on on to "getting a drink". Enjoy the pictures.

Dance 101
Sarah is attending dance class at her preschool and today was the day that parents could come and observe. Sarah is having a blast and her teacher is so good with the girls. She prefers tap over ballet because she listened and participated more in tap. I think it is the shoes. Sarah can't wait until her recital in May.
Good Dancing Sarah!

Fun Family Times at the Mall Take 2 (with the Cousins)
Okay,
So we had so much fun last Friday night at the mall that when my cousin called earlier this week and told us that they were coming into town, we planned to meet at the merry-go-round. We have five kiddos between the two of us...the oldest being 5 years, then 3 years, 2 years, 1 year, and 10 months. I love that our kids are so close. We have had some fun times with them and I can't wait for them to grow up together like my cousin and I did. Thanks Butler family for coming in town and carving some of your time out for us! We had a blast!

The Whole Crew
Matching Crew...Michael (my cousin's husband), Pike, and Carson all have black Converse.
As you can see, Pike is being a great cousin and helping Carson over the top of the train. Literally, two seconds after I took this picture, Carson fell to the left, head first, toward the ground. I jumped up and raced over there. Luckily when Pike heard his mom, two other women and myself gasp, he grabbed Carson by the upper legs and saved him. Dewey always says that I'm way overprotective at these playgrounds, but I think that this time I am justified by the other three women! Nice save Pike!!!!
