Balloon Festival

We went to the Balloon Festival last weekend and had a blast! Sarah loved the balloons and Carson didn't know what to think of them. Great family fun!!!!

Waiting patiently and watching the sunrise. Beautiful!

Giving kisses!

Carson a little apprehensive about the balloons

Sarah's Favorite

Saying hello to the fire fighters!

Nothing like Daddy love!!

Sarah telling the balloon, "Go higher"

Carson trying to decide if he likes the balloons or not.

Push Toys and Empty Boxes

Here are the pictures that I promised of Carson and his push toy. We also had a couple of empty boxes around the house and the kids played with it all afternoon! It just reminds me that a piece of cardboard will entertain them more than the expensive toys.

Carson thinks he is cool pushing Sarah around.

This is his face anytime he is standing up and moving it or walking around it. I'm thinking, come on dude and walk. I can just imagine his face when he does finally walk!

Love this!

Again, such joy out of an empty box!

Church Family Portraits

Okay, so the only way that we are going to have a "traditional" portrait taken of the family is if the church is taking pictures for the directory and we get a free 8x10. So, here they are...meet our new family: mommy, daddy, smiling Sarah, and a deer in headlights. heehee :) I can't wait until next month until we meet with our photographer for our real family pictures (which are not-sit down, smile, click)!! We love Dee and we appreciated her before this, but now we really appreciate her!

p.s. please excuse the scanned pictures. We don't have the best scanner, but it works.

Give the Boy Raisins and He is a Happy Camper!

Carson loves raisins. Actually, he likes anything edible (sp?). In the second picture, his cheeks are full of raisins and he is reaching for more. heehee :) He is getting so big, he is almost the size of Sarah. On another note, he cruises around behind his push toy and giggles the whole way. You can tell that he is really thinking about letting go and wanting to walk on his own. Go Carson Go!! (I'll post some pictures of him behind his push toy soon!)

Sarah's Quote of the Day

Sarah's allergies have been going CRAZY the past couple of days. Here is one of our conversations...

I asked her this afternoon, "Sarah come here so we can blow you nose."
Sarah said, "Mommy, I hate my nose."
I said, "That's silly."
Sarah's response, "I know."

I love her two year old brain!!!! :)

Dance 101

Sarah had her first dance class today at preschool. She loves it because she gets to be a "princess" and I love it because they come to the school. Every time we ask her if she wants to put on her dance clothes, she immediately takes off her clothes and throws them on the floor as you can see in the pictures.
