It's a Boy!

My life long friend of 25 years, whom I met in first grade, had her baby boy on Thursday and I went to visit them today. I'm so proud of her and excited for all of the fun that goes into being a mommy. For now Annie, eat and sleep when you can and don't worry about holding him when he falls asleep...he is not even a week old yet! You have to spoil him a little bit. Hugs and Kisses!

Annie, me, and Mr. Alex (please excuse my hair...friends, someone could of told me nicely that I need to do something with it!!! It is pretty sad when your friend's,who just delivered a baby mind you, hair looks better than yours.)

Proud Daddy!

I am a robot.

Sarah made a "robot" out of the empty huggies box. She giggles and says, "I am a robot...I am a robot...I am a robot" in this mechanical voice. It is very funny. Watch all of the video, Sarah takes out Carson, Carson falls to the ground, stands back up and laughs. There is so much fun in an empty diaper box! (make sure to pause the blog music at the bottom to hear Carson laughing...and daddy!)

Not that I'm Excited or Anything!

For those of you who now me, it comes as no surprise for me to say
I.LOVE.THE.BEACH!
We booked our beach house today in Alabama. Last year we went to Galveston and since it was blown off the map by Hurricane Ike, we decided to go elsewhere. We have heard that the beaches in Gulf Shores are beautiful. So we got online, found a house, and booked it. And you do not need to remind me that it is January...I know. All the better reason to book now!
Sarah told me today," Mommy, we can go to the beach this summer. But we can't step on the lellyfish because they will STING {very loud and pronounced with her index finger sticking out} you. I have to go tell Bubba." I think she is excited too!
Only 183 more days to go!!!! Yahoo!!

My Swwweeetttt New Ride!

Okay,
So Dewey and I decided that since my car had been in the repair shop two times in the past 9 months with a total of $5,000 repairs done to it, we should go and look at cars. A little history: I have been in love with the Outlook for about a year and a half now and knew that there was no way that I could afford one because they are EXPENSIVE. But we went to the Saturn dealership to look at the Vue and...we found this 2008 Outlook. And we can afford it.
And He.bought.it.for.me!
Thanks honey. I love it. When I told Sarah that Daddy had bought us a new car, she said, "I looovvvee my Daddy!"
Love it!!!

The interior looks blue in the picture, but it is dark gray. Sorry, with it being dark, shooting through the window, and the flash, it kind of distorted the color but you get the idea.

His Name According to Sarah...

Over the Christmas break, Papa Coach started calling Carson "Carsoney". Well the other night at dinner, Sarah went around the table and told everyone their name (as if we didn't know). She identified mommy and daddy and when she got to Carson she said, "And that is Bubba Carsoney". How more back woods could you get?! So now if you ask her what her brother's name is she will tell you Bubba Carsoney. Hysterical...I love these kids!

Cotton Bowl

Santa brought us tickets to the Cotton Bowl and even though Tech lost, we had fun. I loved our seats because they were up high and we could see everything! Thanks Santa!!!
Go Tech!!
Our seats were great! We could see everything!
