Taos

This year for Christmas, my parents took us snow skiing.  As a kid, my family went skiing every year and it was neat to be able to see Sarah and Carson ski with my parents.  The mountains hold great memories for me as a kid and I’m glad that Sarah and Carson now have memories of skiing with their Pops and Grammy!

On our way to the mountains, we stopped at the Big Texan in Amarillo.  We didn’t attempt to eat the {free if you ate it in an hour} 72 oz. steak, but it was a fun restaurant.

Hanging out and enjoying the scenery!

Snow Angel…

Proof that we are not too old for this sport!  If I can be 65 and 67 years young on the mountain snow skiing, like my parents…life is good!  :)

Some of Dew and I…

The kids did great in ski school in the mornings and then skied with us in the afternoons.  On their first day of lessons, Carson stood in awe of his surroundings.  His ski instructor told us that he was more interested in looking around than learning how to ski.  heehee…  She understood, after we told her that this was his first time to the mountains and that he has never seen this much snow…being from Texas and all.

Day 1…

Riding up the magic carpet with daddy…

Carson’s way of stopping…doing a complete 180.  Very inventive!

By the end of our trip…they were pros!!!

Our attempt at a family photo…

I recently came across your blog and wanted to take a moment of your time to inquire about any guest posting opportunities that you may have on your blog. I've written an informational and educational article on the importance of early childhood education that I believe your readers of (http://teamoneill.blogspot.com/) would be interested in.

Thank you in advance for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you.
