Meet Thumbs Up Johnnie…Isn’t he cute? We were given four of the Thumbs Up Johnnie books for my son’s birthday and they are great!
They are about the adventures of a Thumbprint who is dressed like a cowboy and they include great life lessons! The books are colorful, fun, and cover things like managing money, giving to others, and being a good friend. And the Thumbs Up to Red, White, and Blue (my personal favorite) teaches the kids about the symbols of America, the Declaration of Independence, the Pledge of Allegiance, and all of the branches of military. Very patriotic and I love it…I even think that my 5th grader students would enjoy it and it would fit beautifully in their curriculum! Always the teacher in me…
They even have this COOL website where you can go and play games and even print off coloring sheets. How fun is that? Go check it out!!!
Sarah’s favorite character is Lillian Pinky because “she is a girl and she has pink boots.”
