The Adventures of Thumbs Up Johnnie
Meet Thumbs Up Johnnie…Isn’t he cute? We were given four of the Thumbs Up Johnnie books for my son’s birthday and they are great!
They are about the adventures of a Thumbprint who is dressed like a cowboy and they include great life lessons! The books are colorful, fun, and cover things like managing money, giving to others, and being a good friend. And the Thumbs Up to Red, White, and Blue (my personal favorite) teaches the kids about the symbols of America, the Declaration of Independence, the Pledge of Allegiance, and all of the branches of military. Very patriotic and I love it…I even think that my 5th grader students would enjoy it and it would fit beautifully in their curriculum! Always the teacher in me…
They even have this COOL website where you can go and play games and even print off coloring sheets. How fun is that? Go check it out!!!
Sarah’s favorite character is Lillian Pinky because “she is a girl and she has pink boots.”

Not Me Monday!
- I totally do not love the three people pictured above to pieces.
- I did not spend the last two hours working on the above scrapbook picture for it not to load as a regular picture…no need to click on the “view the full album” because what you see is what you get...
- In no way am I having the time of my life this summer with the best kids and husband ever!
- I have no clue that in SIX days I will be at the beach!
- We did not have a successful birthday party for, now, my two year old son. (See post below)
Have a good week!

Celebrating Carson’s Birthday
We went to Chuck E. Cheese tonight to celebrate Carson’s birthday. The kids truly enjoyed themselves and had fun.
There are A LOT of pictures in this post too…I know!
Please excuse Sarah…I promise that she is not trying to hang herself had fun!
Fun In the Sun
We met some of our friends at a pool in Plano and had a blast! Carson had a love/hate relationship with the water slide and Sarah loved every minute of it.
Progression of Carson going down the waterslide…again love/hate. He would cry, “Mamma, Mamma” at the top and then be laughing by the bottom. I don’t think he liked the water shooting up at the top.
Happy Birthday Carson!
Dear Carson,
Okay…so if someone seriously told me that time flies double with your second child…I wouldn’t of believed it. Cliché I know, but it is true. You have blessed my life and given me so much joy in the past 24 months! Your smile brightens my day and I love to hear your feet on the floor running full speed ahead from the time you wake up until the time you go to sleep. You are such a sweet brother and a loving son. You are 100% a mamma’s boy boy and I love it! You have grown so much from last year and I can’t wait to see what this next year holds for you! My hope for you is that you can laugh that contagious laugh every day of your life…I love you…Happy Birthday Bubba Carsoney!
Kisses XOXO
Love to the Moon and Back,
“Mamma”
