Balloon Festival 2010

Saturday morning, we woke up early, grabbed sausage rolls at Max’s donuts, and headed to Plano for the Balloon Festival.  The Balloon Festival is one of our fall traditions and the kids loved it!  When I opened up my camera to take pictures, my battery was dead (Boo!), and we had to use our camera on our phones.  At least we were able to get some pictures, even though they are not the best quality.

Grandparent’s Day

Grandparent’s Day was Friday at the kids school and the grandmas attended.  The grandmas saw Carson in his Taekwondo class and they ate snack with both kids in Sarah’s room.

Something grew…

…in our garden.

Okay…so it’s not much of a garden.  Really it is two large metal tubs with wholes drilled in the bottom, soil, and some seed.  But we did it for fun and didn’t anticipate anything to grow in it.  But we were wrong.  A watermelon grew!  We should of kept it on the vine longer, but we were so excited, we cut it off.

Go Boldly In the Direction of Your Dreams Part 2

In December, I posted this post about Mr. Junco and how he was going in the direction of his dreams to open a new school.  I’m humbled and honored to say that he has asked me to be a Cheatham Charger and school opens today.

Six Flags and The Circus

This year we ended our summer with a trip to Six Flags and a trip to the circus.  The kids enjoyed riding the rides at Six Flags and they enjoyed the animals at the circus.

 

I’m back in business…
