Not a good week to be a forehead of an O'Neill...

****Disclaimer: If you have a weak stomach, you may not want to look at the first picture. Really it is not that bad, but you know...

So I was turning down the street that Sarah's preschool was on and my cell phone rang. I was the director of the school saying that Sarah fell into the bookshelf and split her head open. She then said, "I think she will need stitches." So my first thought was...I'm sure glad that our family Christmas pictures have been taken because between Carson's forehead (see post below) and Sarah forehead, the pictures would of needed some serious photoshopping (is that a word?). Bad mom...I know. The director of her school said that she did not cry when it happened. Very impressive!! And she didn't cry on the way to the ER or while they were fixing her "boo-boo". Such a tough girl!! The first thing she told me when I saw her was, " Mommy, I hit my head like bubba." Too funny, but I think Sarah won the prize on the forehead injury!!

The doctor didn't have to give her stitches because he said that he could glue it together and use steri strips. Which is very good because that won't leave the possible markings on her forehead that stitches would.

This evening, my mother-in-law said, I hope CPS doesn't get a hold of your blog....yeah NOT funny!!! Being that I am a former CPS investigator, I think I'm okay. Too bad Halloween is over because Carson looks like something out of a freak show and Sarah looks like Frankenstein. hee hee :)

Sarah with her "boo boo"

Sarah waiting for the numbing lotion to work and telling me that I was in her view of the tv.

Like New and looking like Frankenstein!
