We just got back from Carson's one year doctor's visit and Dr. Dan told us what we already knew...he is a BIG boy! His head circumference is 19 1/4 inches (95th percentile). He weights 25 pounds 6 oz (80th percentile) and he is 30 inches long (65th percentile). All else is well and he is a healthy little boy. He only got three shots and did very well with them. When the nurse was getting ready to give Carson his shots, she set them down next to him Carson reached for them with his Go Go Gadget arms and got a hold of one of them. Luckily, the needle was covered. I think it freaked out the nurse more than it did Dewey or I.
But all is well and Dr. Dan approved Carson to be a future Allen Lineman!!! heehee :)

Please don't be too quick to stereotype your young stud as a lineman. Remember that the revered John Elway has an extremely large head and a toothy smile...and don't forget that young Carson donned #7 on his shirt at church yesterday morning...and let us not forget his middle name! I believe that this is truly a sign of things to come...he is destined to be a FUTURE HALL OF FAMER!!!
But most of all, he is being raised by the best parents any boy could ever wish to have. In my book, this puts him in the 99th percentile!
