Birthday Bash with The Mavs
My friend’s son had his first birthday party at the Mavs game on Tuesday night. What a fun time to get together with friends and celebrate Alex’s birthday. Carson and Sarah loved the game and had a blast meeting new friends. My camera is on it’s last leg so please excuse some of these pictures.
HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY ALEX!

Adding More To My Plate
Today starts a new chapter in my life…I’m starting my Masters program at UTA in Elementary Science Education. I fully intend to continue blogging about fun stuff that Dewey and the kids and I do, but if there are weeks where I don’t, and you begin to think that I have become MIA, please know that I haven’t…
I’m just sitting here…
…and send good thoughts/prayers my way.
For I know I will need them.
Wish me luck, for in a year and a half, I will have my masters!
***In 180 days (because no one is counting…), I will take a break from my studies and be on the beach. So if you don’t hear from me by then, send the troops out looking for me. hee hee :)

Finding Excuses…
Okay, so I know you are probably sick and tired of seeing my before and after pictures {with the help of my Photoshop} of the kids, but I am finding excuses to go outside so that I can get some fun pictures to touch up.
And Yesterday’s weather was a perfect excuse.
I will save you from the before/after and just give you the after…

Thunderbird Stroller Skate
We went to the roller rink this morning for Stroller Skate and the kids had a great time. By the time we were ready to leave, Sarah was off of the wall and doing quite well.
Carson started skating…
And ended up in the stroller…
Excuse the black and white and some of the color/red eye in these pictures…Our camera is on its last leg and Uncle Sam (our tax return) may just bring us a new camera.
Here are some of the pictures that didn’t turn out well, but I love…
***This writer program actually cleared some of them up when I loaded them in. Sweet, but Uncle Sam may still be saying “Happy Tax” to us soon!

Christmas Celebrations
This year for Christmas, we started out at my parent’s house on Christmas Eve.
Then we came home to wake up to Santa’s gifts…
***In all the pictures that we took, there were none of the adults {Grandma, Papa Coach, me or Dewey} on Christmas morning.
