Star Student of the Week

Sarah was

Star Student of the Week

this past week at her school.  She enjoyed…

…making her poster. Okay…so I helped a little and totally got the “don’t sent homework home because the parents will complete it” thing.

…bringing her favorite book.  Fancy Nancy was the chosen one!

…bringing her favorite toy.  Hannah Montana Doll and dress to match.

…and bringing her favorite snack.  Sprinkle Cupcakes and Capri Suns filled everyone’s tummy on Friday afternoon.

Thank you Ms. Ryan for choosing Sarah as the Star Student of the Week!

Happy Easter

Our weekend was also filled with a lot of Easter!

In Sunday School today, the bible verse was:

Jesus is Alive (Matthew 28:7)

…and we were discussing where Jesus lives.  Sarah’s response was, “In Texas”.

That a girl…everything in Texas is bigger and better.

We further discussed where else he lived and in the end, she decided that Jesus lived in her heart.

I love this girl!

We then filled our day with Two Easter Egg Hunts and had a great day with family.

Carson enjoyed his Easter Egg Hunting so much, that if he found an egg, he would immediately open it up, unwrap the candy, and eat it.  By the end of the hunt, he had an empty basket and a full mouth…..of chocolate.  And he loved every minute of it.

Happy Easter!

Princess and The Frog Birthday Party

Our weekend started with a fun five year old birthday party!  Princess and the Frog was the theme and the kids had a blast.

The birthday girl, Olivia, is on the right.

Playing with Photoshop Again…

I love Photoshop!  Playing with photos in that application ranks right up there with a hot bubble bath at the end of the day.  I hate that today is the last day of
Spring Break and I can’t wear my flip flops because of this…

So I’ll stay inside, remembering that in 117 days I will be on the beach, and edit my pictures.

***Once again, my camera has a mind of it’s own.  I can’t figure out how to get better clarity on some pictures that come out blurry.  I’ve tried sharpening, but that makes the pixels crazy!

Does anyone knows how to un-bury a picture without making the pixels go crazy?

Allen American Hockey Game

Last night, we went to McDonald’s for dinner and the manager gave us 6 free tickets to the hockey game.  Score!  What a fun venue and game.  Carson loved the hockey!  Sarah on the other hand, could take or leave the hockey, but she enjoyed watching the girls dance and waving her flag.

The Allen American’s won and they are on their way to the playoffs!

Go Allen Americans!

***My camera still has a mind of its own…Some of these pictures are not clear, but they are fun!

Playdate and Lunch with our Cousins

My cousin was in town this week with her kids and they surprised us the other day and came over to play.  We also made fun little pizzas for lunch.

Lindy Kate, my cousin’s youngest daughter, is so itty bitty and precious.  Believe it or not, she is two and we are celebrating that she has finally made it on the growth charts!  Dewey says that she looks like a little who from Whoville.  Sooooo Cute!

Thanks Raylee and crew for a fun morning!
