Playdate and Lunch with our Cousins

My cousin was in town this week with her kids and they surprised us the other day and came over to play.  We also made fun little pizzas for lunch.

Lindy Kate, my cousin’s youngest daughter, is so itty bitty and precious.  Believe it or not, she is two and we are celebrating that she has finally made it on the growth charts!  Dewey says that she looks like a little who from Whoville.  Sooooo Cute!

Thanks Raylee and crew for a fun morning!

Blowing Out the Candles…

We went to Pops and Grammy’s house for St. Patrick’s day and to celebrate Pop’s birthday.  We enjoyed the weather, planted the garden, and had cake.

I love this picture…even though it is blurry.  Sarah was so excited about having cake, she didn’t want to sit still to take a picture.  But I love Carson’s face.

Baseball Fever and a Cut Hand

We went to the Freshman baseball game to cheer on daddy’s players.  I love baseball games {almost as much as I love the beach} and I love the fact that the kids are getting old enough to enjoy them.  We had to leave early because Sarah cut her hand when she feel on the sidewalk.  After she cut her hand {and all the way home} she kept saying/screaming “I just couldn’t handle it because it is bleeding” or “I just can’t handle it because it is too much”.  It was quite funny and I had to laugh in order keep my own sanity.

{I think we will be rethinking that whole…you can’t cry unless there is blood thing.}

Before we left, I tried to go into the bathroom to wash up her hand and I’m sure everyone in Collin County could hear her screaming like no other {thank you echoing, because that is a word, bathroom for making it sound like I was beating her to death!!!}.  When we got home, we washed up her hand and she didn’t even need a band-aid.

Dewey came home asking why she was screaming/crying and when he saw her hand, he said, “Seriously?!” and started laughing.

Stonebriar Playdate

Yesterday, we met one of my high school friends and her babies at the mall for playtime and lunch.  We had a blast playing, going to the Disney store {No, Sarah did NOT get the two piece Princess and the Frog swimsuit, but she did get a cute Minnie Mouse one that she will be sporting at the beach in 123 days}, riding the Merry-Go-Round, and grabbing a bite to eat.

Dinner and a Park…

I love Spring Break!  It allows us time to relax and it allows us {quality} time to enjoy our friends {that sometimes seems impossible to do during the school year}.

We had friends over the other night for dinner and we took the kids to the park since the weather was gorgeous.
