So I'm playing around with some fun Christmas stuff and I made this new header, but I don't know which one I like better...the one I have as my header or this one. Please feel free to leave a comment with your thoughts...

Candy the Elf has arrived...
Hello,
I'm the Elf on the Shelf and I have just arrived at my new house. Tonight, the children read the book that I brought with me that told them of my story. Santa sent me and their first task was to give me a name. They have named me Candy. Now, my job can start. I have specific instructions from the big man himself watch over the whole family (daddy included) during the day and then, at night, I fly back to the North Pole and give my daily report to Santa. I return back to my new home before everyone awakes and nestle into my new spot for the day to watch over the family. I even found this cool key at the house to let me in and out. I think Santa sent it before he sent me to let me know how important my job is. Sarah and Carson have got to remember not to touch me so that I can keep my Christmas magic, but they can tell me all of their wishes. If you would like to get one of my friends, you may visit our website at http://www.elfontheshelf.com/. Merry Christmas!
Sincerely,
Candy the Elf

Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I love looking back at my year and being thankful for my family, husband, children, friends, job, health, and multiple blessings through out the year. I also love the traditions that go along with the holiday. To get into the thanksgiving mood, Sarah and I decided to do crafts and bake cookies.

Sarah showing off her thankful rings. I asked her who she was thankful for, wrote them on the ring and linked them together. Pretty creative for a fifth grade teacher I know!! She told me she was thankful for Carson, barbies, Jesus, Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Papa, Grammy and Pop, Charli and Coal (the dogs), The Vaughan Family, her books, her toys, and Uncle Jon all with out me prompting her. What a thankful heart!
The final products displayed nicely on our front door.
